I had applied for TAX GAIN under option dividend and payout. Appication no. xxxx6165 dated 07 mar 2008 vide cheque no. 753582 for Rs. 20,000/-. The money was withdrawn from my account on 12 mar 2008. I have not got the certificates and dividend amount. Pl advice line of action.

Hi Rama,

You cannot take any advantage of Dividend Income u/s 80 C.

In turn you need to add the dividend income to your annual income for computation of Tax.
